PUNTA GORDA RAMP SECURITY

NOTE:  Pilots who received an ID badge in 2017 will not have to repeat the application process for 2018.  However, they must bring and present the identity document previously used (e.g., passport) to obtain their 2018 ID badge.

All pilots attending the NATA Formation Clinic at Punta Gorda must submit to a security vetting process to gain access to the ramp area.  They will receive an ID badge (access card) that will also open the gate, allowing them to drive to their aircraft and park inside the fence. There is no other way for pilots to access the north ramp. (Back seaters and guests do not have to submit information.)

Two important steps must be followed:  1) supply all required documents (completed application and copies of identity documents), and 2) complete an on-line driving quiz (sample answers are provided below).

STEP 2 OF 2

First prepare for the quiz by reviewing the sample answers below, then complete the PGD online driving quiz by clicking the button below.  This takes you to flypgd.com/Driver-Training. The online process begins by reviewing the driving information (click on "Continue" at the bottom of each page to advance to next page), then leads to the quiz on the final page. Your answers are captured by the PGD system and no hard copies need to be submitted.
