DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION, THIS IS NOW A FLY-IN!
The CAF Capital Wing is hosting a NATA Advanced Training Formation clinic at the Culpeper, VA airport (KCJR) Oct 6-9, 2026.
Arrival day Thursday, October 8th. Dinner Thursday night. Beginning Friday, mandatory Safety Briefing at 0800 (Capital Wing hangar).
All NATA members are welcome, and advanced training will be offered in T-6/SNJ/Harvard. Navions and Stearman aircraft welcome but pilots seeking formation training should contact the organizers before registering to confirm sufficient aircraft are expected.
Training will consist of: FPR flights, 4-ship proficiency flights, and "mass" formation training flights.
We will not be scheduling 2 or 4 ship training flights. You must already have a card to participate in the formation flights. Anyone is allowed to be a GIB.
Culpeper AirFest, which follows the fly-in (through Saturday) will be Saturday. AirFest is a waivered airspace event, with FAA presence.
Waiver is only in effect on Saturday. Hotel, dinner, and fuel provided by
AirFest for Friday and Saturday.
