Rhode Island Formation Clinic - 2022

Please join fellow NATA members in New England this fall at our Rhode Island Formation Clinic in Westerly, RI from September 15-18, 2022.

Arrival day is Thursday September 15th, and the clinic will begin with a ground school on Thursday at noon, if needed, for any participants pursuing a qualification (Wingman or Lead). Attendance is mandatory for participants who have not attended a formal, instructor-taught ground school.

Trainees must review our Formation Training Program before attending this clinic, paying particular attention to their specific aircraft requirements and the associated aircraft "Type Supplement" (formerly "Appendix D"). First-time clinic participants may find this Check List useful.

There will be a mandatory safety briefing at 0800 on Friday.

NATA Leads and Check Pilots are asked to arrive on Wednesday to participate in an important IP/CP meeting at 0900 Thursday, and a formation sortie or two afterwards.

NATA will comply with any local, state or federal restrictions related to COVID-19, and may be forced to cancel this event at short notice. In that case, a cancellation fee would not apply; instead, all fees collected would become credits on member accounts. Participants are aware of the risks of COVID-19 infection due to exposure to other people, whether symptomatic or not, and whether direct or indirect. More information is available on the CDC website at this address www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov. The Hold Harmless agreement that all NATA clinic participants must sign includes acknowledgment and acceptance of these risks.
